Obituary for Glenn Wayne Gann

Glenn Wayne Gann, 65, a lifelong resident of El Campo, passed away July 8, 2016. He was born on September 17, 1950 to the late Richard Lee and Edith Jensen Gann.

Glenn graduated from El Campo High School in 1969 and attended WCJC. He was a farmer, rancher and a long time employee of United Ag (Farmer's Co-Op). His saying was "Jack of all trades, master of none." He was very active with the rodeo, competing in calf roping and team roping. He loved his horses, cows and goats. Glenn was an FFA Member and president of the Community Roping Club. He was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in El Campo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rita Casey Gann of El Campo; children, Jason Adams and wife Brenda of Refugio, Jo Gayle Gann Stavena and husband Tommy of El Campo, Travis Gann and wife Jennyfer of Blum, Tx; grandchildren, Kody Adams and Jesse Adams McCoy of Ragley, LA, Frank Dylan Stavena and Megan Stavena of El Campo, Rhodey Gann of Blum; great-grandchildren, Natleigh and Grady McCoy of Ragley; siblings, Gayle Gann Shelley, Larry Gann and wife Valrie, Pat Gann Marek and husband Kirk and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in El Campo.
