Naoma passed away 11-24-14.  She had undergone some sort of surgery and seemed to have been recovering at the time of her death.  Her obituary follows:

Naoma Sue King, age 63 of Wharton died Monday, November 24, 2014 in a Houston hospital following a sudden illness. She was born on August 1, 1951 in El Campo, a daughter of the late Buel Joe Harris and Leaner Deliah Jacobs Harris. Naoma was a raised in the El Campo area and graduated from El Campo High School. She married Paul King in El Campo on November 6, 1970. She worked as a secretary for over 20 years in the agriculture field. Naoma enjoyed family gatherings, genealogy, and listening to music. Her favorite activity was spending time with her granddaughter, Lexie. In addition to her parents, her daughter, Jodi Caroline King, brother, Paul Harris and sister in law Henrietta Harris preceded her in death. Following cremation, private memorial services will be held at a later date. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Paul King of Wharton, daughter, Emily King of Wharton and granddaughter, Lexie King of Wharton, sisters, Yvonne Newman and husband, Milton of Victoria and Nancy Mozisek and husband, Dennis of El Campo, brothers, Charles Harris of El Campo, and James Harris and wife, Carolyn of Freeport. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be left at www.whartonfuneralhome.com Funeral services were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
