Obituary for Marcia Marlene Kaltwasser Palt

Marcia Marlene Kaltwasser Palt, of El Campo, died April 30, 2024 at the age of 73. She was born on October 1, 1950 in El Campo to the late Dr. A. C. Kaltwasser and Isabell Marek Kaltwasser. Marcia was a graduate of Texas Lutheran College, where she studied German and History. She taught World History and German for 36 years in both South San High School and El Campo High School. She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church where she led the “ROC” group.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Palt of El Campo and daughters, Kellee Palt of New York, NY and Megan Zabodyn and husband Clint of Indian Hills, CO.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Christ Lutheran Church in El Campo with Pastor Wayne Clement officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Zabodyn, Kevin Stehling, Gary Gensler, Michael Jaeger, Troy Washington and Adrian Canales.
