Edward (Ed) Allen Springs

Edward (Ed) Allen Springs, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on June 10, 2019. Graveside services with Masonic Rites under the auspices of Kingsbury Masonic Lodge #887 A.F. & A.M. will be held at Dugger Cemetery on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10 am with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Ed was born on October 27, 1930 in Seguin, Texas to James Elby and Louise (Zemlicka) Springs. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Betty Faye Mergele Springs, his daughter, Constance Renelle (Connie) Springs, his parents, his daughter-in-law Mary Springs, his brothers-in-law, Gus Merlin Mergele and Don Terry Mergele, his sisters-in-law , Helen Maxine Mergele and Mary Ann Mergele; Survivors include his children, Kenneth Edward (Glinda) Springs, Roxane Faye Miller (Ronald), Marc Andrew (Sandra) Springs and Allen Wayne Springs; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Mergele, Lenore Mergele, and Jacque Mergele (Wallace) Schuehle; grandchildren, Emily Springs, Sarah Grossman (Patrick), Alex Springs, Robert Carr, Misty Adams, Morgan Springs, Sean (Katie) Springs, Elizabeth Stanley (Cooper), Gracie Springs, and Madison Springs; six great grandchildren, Ella Beckett, Nicholas Wallace, Colbe Springs, Braxton Springs, Raigan Springs, and Daniel Vasquez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Ken Springs, Marc Springs, Wayne Springs, Ronnie Miller, Sean Springs and Alex Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to The Kingsbury Masonic Lodge #887, P. O.
